Upgrade /Apply Patch set on OHS 11.1.1.6 to 11.1.1.9 to enable TLSv1.2

 

Source OHS Version    :    11.1.1.6  <Windows 64 bit>

Target   OHS Version    :    11.1.1.9 <Windows 64 bit>

Configured SSL on 11.1.1.6 OHS version - but it does not support TLSv1.2 - so we end up upgrading the OHS version. Basically applying the higher patch set to existing environment.

Current OHS Version and Details :

set ORACLE_HOME= C:\ohs11g\Middleware\Oracle_WT1

cd %ORACLE_HOME%

cd Opatch

opatch lsinventory

STOP THE OHS SERVICE BEFORE APPLYING THE PATCH SET.

cd C:\ohs11g\Middleware\Oracle_WT1\instances\instance1\bin

opmnctl stopall.

Lets install the Patch set version 11.1.1.9. 

Download the media from Oracle Support & unzip it. 

     In this step we have to select the ORACLE_MIDDLEWARE and ORACLE_HOME directory of          existing installation. If we miss it here - it will install a new set of binaries.

     Installation Completed !!!

    Lets check the OHS status

    

   Check the OHS Version after applying the patch set.
